Nepali Sherpa breaks own record with the 31st summit


Nepali Sherpa Kami Rita, also known as the “Everest Man”, has scored the Everest Mount for the 31st, breaking his own record to increase the world’s tallest peak.

The 55 -year -old, who was guiding the mountain to a group of Indian Army officials, reached the 8,894m summit on Tuesday at 04:00 (23:15 GMT Monday).

“Kami Rita Sherpa does not need any introduction. He is not just a national climbing leader, but a global sign of Everest,” Expedition Organizer Seven Summit said in a statement.

Kami Rita guided Everest in 1994 and made a high level since then.
