Much of his original character lasts today – from the complicated mosaic floor in the foyer to his legendary bronze dragon, Lucky George, who has been watching on the second floor since the first day.
At the command of doll, an identical dragon was placed aboard the Titanic and eventually sunk with the ship.
According to legend, you will rub the head of Lucky George and make a wish, but good luck to you.
The large entrance to the hotel still houses the original floors and wall walls. In the entrance is a complicated mosaic-inspired mosaic with a focal point of a wink.
The floor contains the fascination of the Victorian era with astrology and mysticism.
