Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hatsan responded to the video.
“If the person painted in the video is really Antoine Massi, we are strongly forced to come forward and turn him to the right authorities,” he said. “Cooperation with law enforcement will help you avoid their interests and avoid additional fees. It is important to appropriately meet justice and follow the correct process.”
Louisiana’s State Police (LSP) refused to review the authenticity of the video, saying that doing so would “disrupt investigative roles or legal enforcement operations.”
Louisiana’s Attorney General Liz Murrill’s office also refused to respond.
The FBI did not return the comment request.
