Miley Cyrus was in the middle of a wave of setbacks after the film premiere of its “somewhat beautiful” project.
Much of the criticism began at the event itself, when fans, who believed they participated in a concert, were shocked to discover that it was simply a traditional film screening. Thereafter, a viral video of the event is spread online, which led to further upset from some participants.
In the midst of the controversy, some fans have come to Miley Cyrus’s defense and criticized the upset audience members for not doing their due diligence to understand the nature of the event in advance.

The singer once raised the eyebrows over his comments about tournament

In 2023, Cyrus received a similar backlash over her comments that she did not want to come back on the road.
“Singing for hundreds of thousands of people isn’t really what I love. There’s no connection. There’s no security,” she said at that time in an interview with British Vogue. “It’s not natural either. It is so insulating because if you are in front of 100,000 people you are alone.”
Her comments were considered because she did not appreciate her fans, which the singer later remodeled in an Instagram post.
“This has nothing to do with a lack of appreciation for the fans and everything to do with, I simply do not want to get ready in a dressing room,” she wrote. “I just don’t want to sleep on a moving bus. It’s not the best for me right now.”
