The new podcast tries to remodel Mali as a misunderstood patriot, but not everyone buys it. One of the LinkedIn messages cut through the spin – with facts, court rulings and a sharp reminder: “You still owe us a few answers.”
Schubham Sharma spent 14 hours, overcoming Vijay Mallya Raj Shamani’s strategy before weighing. “No, Mr. Mollya, you are not misunderstood by the patriot or the goat of the release,” he writes. “And no, we don’t have to forgive you.”
In his message LinkedIn, Sharma resists the story of Mali with a number of rigid facts. For the first, the figures: while Malla requires the default 6 203 krones, Sharma says that the actual debt has crossed 9,000 crowns in 17 state sector banks.
“They have been rebuilt twice over the decade,” he notes. “As long as Kingfisher collapsed, unpaid snow contributions with interest, fines and legal default.”
A lot of advertised offer to MALLYA RATE 4000 COUNTS? The sore is not impressed. “If this is his idea of justice, imagine that he resolves his loan by 45%.”
The message also disputes Mali’s insistence that his luxurious lifestyle was financed with “personal money”. Sharma indicates CAG reports and income tax that tracked the funds that move through the UB group, blurring the border between private wealth and public default.
“If you do not want the public to confuse your lifestyle with a public default,” the Sharma adds, “Do not fly with hybrid dogs in private planes, and 1500 people are wages.”
He also kills the years of legitimate interruptions that followed. “The Indian government has not acted too hard. It acted too patiently,” Sharma writes, citing repeated appeals and delays of Mali during the extradition.
“DRT accepted the mandatory order order. The courts in the two countries called it refugees. The law enforcement agencies traced each shell and each gear,” the Sharma concludes. “You tried to rewrite the story. But the evidence is still standing.”
