An alarming video showing Indian learning and pressed to the land at Newark Airport before deporting from the United States caused extensive indignation. Personnel offered by Indian-American Entrepreneur Kunal Jane caused concern about the treatment of Indian students abroad, which caused calls for official intervention by the Indian government.
“I witnessed that a young Indian student was deported from Newark Airport last night – handcuffed, cried, treated the criminal. He came to chase dreams without harming. As nri, I felt helpless and broken.
He told as a student who was supposed to be on the same flight, never sat down. “The father of this poor child will not know what is happening to him. @Indianembassyus @drsjaishankar, he had to plant last night in the same flight, but he never got on board. Someone should find out what’s going on in New Jersey. I found it disoriented,” he added.
From the boy’s emphasis, Jane believes he is originally from Hariana. At the moment that stood out, the student shouted: “I did not crash … They were bent to prove that I was crazy.”
Further, Jane claimed that such incidents become disturbing routine. “These children receive visas and go on a flight in the morning. For some reason, they cannot explain the cause of their visit to the immigration authorities and go back to the evening flight associated with the criminals. Every day 3-4 occur. These cases were more similar in the last few days,” he wrote.
The incident fired a storm on social media, with reactions between concerns and skepticism.
One user questioned: “What do you mean; he couldn’t explain to the US authorities. If he couldn’t speak in English as he cleaned his exams, what courses he is about to take?”
Another noted: “Know at least 8-10 Indians who were deported back to India on direct flights without handcuffs! What was so many airport bodies and police obviously shows that this is not just a student deportation issue. I am arguing that there is more!”
“Handcuffs? Perhaps wrong, but it came the right way? If not, what isn’t it if it was deported?” He asked the third, adding, “If he came the right path, then something is wrong, probably with the rights to handle him so.”
Others turned attention to the broad community of NRI. “You are not alone, most Nri does not remain helpless, the right word is useless when it comes to standing together. We are so selfish, in the coming years we will feel the warmth of our attitude !!”
Some of them were more critical of the students themselves. “Baggers who go there to make activity deserve to be kicked … Although I am not sure what happened to this guy, especially. But many students admire the problems wake up and forget what they came to study there.”
