SILK & SNOW SNOW S&S Organic mattress review: Soft as cloud

To the right of the Bat, I let you know that this bed is not silk or snow. I would argue that it is made with something even better: Latex. The sensation of the latex can be difficult to identify, since I have heard it compared to everything, from a thicker yoga mat or a springboard even to a bed of water. The fact is that the latex has a cushion, a relief of the pressure and a feeling of bounce. It is also quite good to keep the heat and the allergens, which is a victory for hot sleepers and those with allergies. With the S&S organic mattress, I wanted to see if this bed really was the intersection of these aspects of action, combined with an ecological construction. After a week of tests, I have some people in mind who would be the main candidates for this bed.

The S&S Organic mattressConstruction is ecological from top to bottom, with certifications To show you. The bed contains Goths (Standard Global Organic Textile), Gols (Global Organic Latex Standard) and Eco-Institut Materials. As a professional mattress tire, I can see that these are some of the best certifications you can get in the organic claims of your product. The latex used is from Sri Lanka, India cotton and even coils come from Toronto, Canada, to try to limit shipping pollution by maintaining this material on the continent. Ecological certification guarantees that the materials do not contain harmful substances or emit anything that would be contrary to their “organic” state.

From the firmness you follow, whether the firm, the average firm or the stuffed part, the construction will vary slightly. I went with an average company, which has an euro pillow. Silk & Snow states on its website that this particular firmness is intended for “side, back and combined” solips, which I said, “Let’s see this.”

The construction of the average firm includes an organic cotton cover, organic collapse wool, organic Acolchate latex, a thicker organic latex layer and pocket coils. Now that you have the recipe, what does all this mean? From the upper layers, the upper part of the pillow has an organic cotton cover certified by glasses, with a layer of wool below, which is also-ashocker-gotta-certified. Both materials are breathable and porous, so they are intended to maintain room temperature. The wool is also fire resistant, which means that no fire -created fire barriers are used here.

The layers of latex are perforated for air flow and pressure relief and are of a more firm variety called Dunlop. It refers to how the latex developed and there is an upper layer of 0.8 inches, a material barrier, and then a layer of 1.5 inches for the advanced pillow. You have a material barrier to protect the latex, and the base coils are launched for personalized support. They are reinforced right in the middle and around the edges, so the extra feeling that helps you with the lumbar support and prevents you from leaning over the edge while you are lying or sitting on the sides. To round off the protection, the bottom is another layer of wool to make the bed.

Soft as …

On the first night of trying the S&S organic, I went into and was cold, which is usually not the case with me with mattresses. I felt the surface of the bed gave a gentle budget, but not so that it counteracted the relief of the pressure around the hips and shoulders. As the week went by, I started to notice other benefits of bed. It was very easy to move, giving me some additional “oomch” if it changed the sides. It was not a pit, but the construction of latex and coil of the bed makes the surface very sensitive. So far, I agreed with the evaluation at the end of Silk & Snow, to be a mattress that adapted to the band and combined.
