Allison’s story:
“I have always struggled with my self-esteem. When I took my first pictures, I was in tears looking at them. I was at my heaviest (including when I was pregnant). I didn’t recognize my own body and I .I knew it was time to get serious and hit it off.
I knew I couldn’t make any more excuses, I needed to change for myself and my future health. So I followed the Move App workouts, complete each one. I joined an accountability group SSD Shining Stars & LSF mamas. Be committed to following the Slim down in 7 days & HBMPand followed a 40 Day Sugar fast with my sister.
I started the journey hoping and praying that I could stick with it and not give up. So many encouraging women in the LSF community kept me going! Meal plans help take the planning and guesswork out of it. And I think that was the key to my success.
Not only did I get stronger physically, I grew in confidence! I have been struggling with anxiety, fatigue, migraines, dizziness and hormonal problems since 2020. Since changing my diet and my body, I have never felt better! My migraines are non-existent, my anxiety is much better, I have ridiculous amounts of energy (I wake up at 5:30), and my dizziness and hormonal issues are gone! LSF was the key to finding myself.”

“I gained 35+ lbs in my late thirties and hated everything about my body. I found it very challenging to change my habits and lifestyle. I had no plan or direction in which to change. I was tired. Tired of feeling tired, tired of not leaving the house because I had nothing to wear, tired of feeling bad every day is when I decided to join the Spring Slim Down Challenge.
In just 6 weeks I gained a confidence I didn’t know I had, I gained a new found happiness in getting up early in the morning, I gained an appreciation of my body and what it can do, I gained a new relationship with food and learning how to nourish my body, I’ve gained a community of so much support, love and encouragement, not to mention I’ve lost 9 lbs and my clothes fit so much better!
For me this is just the beginning! I am committed to being my best as well and I have Katie and the LSF team/community to thank for that. I am so grateful and feel so proud to be where I am today. I feel strong, motivated and excited for more to come! Good things come to those who sweat!”

“I started this challenge as a reset for the new year to be responsible for committing to work with the move app daily and followed closely HBMP. I also really wanted a support system for this challenge so I started #teamlsfslay and these ladies were amazing with motivation and sharing their support throughout the challenge. I don’t think I could have been as consistent without them! This challenge got me into the habit of working out and eating consistently.”

Our Pink Heart Award goes to a member of the #teamLSF community who not only was dedicated to her own fitness journey, but was also very encouraging to her fellow #teamlsf! Each challenge we ask members to submit people who motivated them and were a source of positivity and encouragement throughout the challenge.
Selena – Lost 11 lbs
“I have lost 17 pounds since the beginning of the Feel Good 14 challenge(11 of which I have lost since the start of SSD).
I stuck to a meal plan for more than a month and now my husband and I treat each other better in nutrition.
While all that feels incredible, this challenge had much less to do with the weight loss goals and more about the cheering of the LSF girls who cheered me on in every past challenge.
My why is to encourage others when they don’t believe in themselves or don’t get encouragement from the people in their life and maybe even destroy their dreams.”

We received so many amazing submissions to this challenge that it was nearly impossible to highlight our Grand Prize winner, finalists and Pink Heart recipient. We wanted to shout out these amazing members who also had insane transformations and heartwarming stories!

“I decided to make a change/tweak if you will, to regulate my training hours and sleep cycle. I started coming home for lunch to make my healthy food at home and pack my training clothes to take with me to change after work on the road. Going to the gym directly instead of home earlier helped me to have my training earlier, which makes me dinner earlier and ends up with more sleep The last two weeks it was beautiful difference in the body and I can see that my body is sculpted, ripped, slimmer!”

“I am committed to SSD completely and it worked on my physical health, but more importantly my mental health and in turn that helped my physical health even more. This challenge was the first time that I used the plans of lunch and I liked it. quick, simple and effective plan laid out in front of me (like the Move the app for my exercises) so that I don’t always have to think about what I should do for meals! I also found a couple of new favorite foods (salmon and Greek yogurt) than before HBMP I didn’t realize I liked it so much.
There will always be challenges, but I will take it one day at a time and keep doing it. I am so thankful for the #teamlsf girls who encourage and support me. I love these challenges – let’s do it together!
The biggest win from SSD I would say is that I FINALLY get into a rhythm of exercise and protein in the morning. I had been trying to get it to work for a long time and this time it actually did! Yes! I show up every day and make small changes that add up and I’m proud of my hard work and results.”

“I have been in many of your challenges and I feel that this is the one that has changed me the most. I did the meal plan of the warm body this time, and I feel like I was able to transform my idea of eating healthy and adding some healthy habits to myself, I was able to lose 6.5 to 8 pounds, and since I’ve been using this app, I’ve lost 23 pounds!”
