Roommates, by now you probably know Lil Scrappy entered the holiday season as a father of five. His son, Kyrie Richardsonwhere born to Shakira on 23 November. Both parents have already shared sweet posts about their baby boy. Most recently, however, Scrappy had to check internet trolls talking negatively about his new fatherhood chapter and Kyrie. And Mother Dee wasted no time in publicly standing behind her son!
A summary of what Lil Scrappy said to trolls
In a video reposted by Live Bitez on Dec 4thLil Scrappy directs his message to people making “negative comments” about Kyrie or him having kids as “a single man.” He called the troll “pretty stupid”.
“That’s ignorant as hell,” Lil Scrappy said. “I’m like, ‘You can’t be mad at them because they’re probably not happy with their life.’ I am happy with mine. I feel fine. All babies that come into this world from (me) will be taken care of. I love them, just the way it’s supposed to be done.”
The rapper then threw a little shade at the crowd spewing negativity. “I’m sorry your mom and dad weren’t there for you like I was there for mine” he said. Scrappy added that he doesn’t play with life. See everything he had to say below.
Mother Dee stands behind her son
Momma Dee slipped into the comments section after The Shade Room reposted Scrappy’s video message. She doubled down on her son’s message and threw a little shade about double standards.
“You know what stop being critical of my son because you have many women who have had different children by different men and you don’t open your mouth. So if I were you I will stay out of his business,” mom Dee wrote.
It doesn’t appear that Dee commented further on the birth of her new grandchild. It’s also unclear if mom has welcomed Shakira into her “kingdom.” “Love & Hip Hop ATL” fans may remember how supportive Momma Dee was of Erica Dixon and Bambi about welcoming them into the family. For context, Scrap co-parents three children with his ex-wife Bam. He also co-parents his eldest, Emani, who is now in collegewith Erica Dixon.
As mentioned, Shakira was the first to announce the birth of Kyrie Richardson on November 30. Their little one was born a week before early in the morning and weighed seven kilos. Shakira revealed that her labor was smooth and lasted six minutes.
Meanwhile, Scrappy’s first Instagram post after the birth of his son expressed gratitude. He also promised that Kyrie and Shakira would have his love and support “no matter what the naysayers say.” Except Bambi’s alleged children’s bookshe and Erica Dixon have yet to publicly comment on Kyrie joining their blended family.
