High-flying Chelsea left Southampton fighting five past, when the Blues ran riot on the south coast.
Axel Diasy, Christopher Nkunku, Noni Madueke, Cole Palmer and Jadon Sancho scored for Enzo Maresca’s side as Chelsea maintained their good start under the Italian.
Joe Aribo equalized for Southampton but the hosts were reduced to ten men when Jack Stevens saw red for pulling on Mark Cucurella.

Finally, there was something positive for Manchester City fans to shout about as they ended their seven-game run with a comfortable 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest.
Kevin De Bruyne was the star of the show as the Belgian returned to the starting line-up for the first time in over two months, scoring a goal and an assist at the Etihad.
Bernardo Silva and Jeremy Doku also scored to lift City back into the top four, although defender Nathan Ake was forced off late with an injury.
Goals abounded at St James’ Park as Newcastle and Liverpool drew 3-3.
Newcastle twice took the lead through Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon, but both times Liverpool hit back courtesy of Curtis Jones and Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool’s drop in points meant Arsenal, like Chelsea, had the chance to close the gap to seven points, which they duly did after beating Manchester United 2-0 at the Emirates.
Jurrien Timber and William Saliba scored the second goals for the Gunners, who lost to new United manager Ruben Amorim.

Aston Villa returned to winning ways with a 3-1 win over Brentford at Villa Park.
The hosts went three goals ahead through Morgan Rodgers, an Ollie Watkins penalty and Matty Cash before Mikkel Damsgaard pulled one back after the break.
