A businesswoman booked an entire hotel for her birthday – so she could meditate by the beach without any ‘riff-raff’ or noisy children.
Former model and actress Victoria Unikel says she spent more than $20,000 (£16k) on a 24-hour stay for her 47th birthday at the hotel, located in the Florida Keys, USA
She splashed out the huge sum, which was ‘butchered’ as it was midweek, so she could enjoy meditation alone on the property’s private strip of sand.
With no one else staying, she says she and her husband, Gene Avakyan, were able to relax and hear the birds without any disturbance.
Footage shows Victoria meditating with her legs crossed on a deckchair on a deserted beach, to ‘relax’ and also ‘manifest’ future successes.
Victoria, from Miami, said: ‘I booked the hotel for my birthday. It was fun and allowed me to avoid noisy kids and the hustle and bustle.

Victoria says she spent more than $20,000 (£16k) for a 24-hour stay for her 47th birthday at the Florida property. She says: ‘Because there was no one around, it was very peaceful’
‘At the hotel I relaxed by the beach and pool, went to the restaurant and walked around.
‘But my favorite thing I did was meditate. I did it on the deck chair at the beach.
‘Because there was no one around, it was very peaceful and easier to meditate, and we could hear and enjoy the birds.
‘My meditation is not just to help me calm down. It also allows me to manifest future events – and it works.
‘(Booking out the whole hotel) got rid of the general riff-raff that is usually in hotels, which I don’t like.

While Victoria loved booking out the entire hotel, she admitted she won’t be doing it again next year

“My meditation is not only to help me calm down, it also allows me to manifest future events and it works,” says Victoria
“And while it was a unique experience, I don’t think I’ll do it again next year.”
Victoria founded the VUGA Media Group with Gene, and is also a children’s author. She publishes her debut novel – ‘Emma + Luke = Vanish to nowhere‘ – in November, with the story released on Audible last month.
Despite her successes across numerous industries, Victoria is still not satisfied and is set to release a luxury travel clothing collection called ‘RCH BTCH’ later this year, via her fashion brand Unikel Couture.
She says the collection focuses on ‘versatility’, allowing business people to enjoy their holidays while still being appropriately dressed for virtual meetings.
Victoria said: ‘I’m not 100 per cent satisfied. I want more. I don’t understand the concept of retirement and I don’t want to retire.
‘I appreciate travel and the experiences it brings.
‘I’m working on a luxury travel collection which will allow you to travel and jump to meetings wearing clothes from the collection (as is appropriate for the office).’
