Qantas For the first time in more than ten years, announced a large redesign of the uniform of his crew.
The national transmitter intends to review the brand’s signature Navy, Red and Fuchsia uniforms that have been a basis for staff since 2013.
Airline CEO Vanessa Hudson said it was time to redefine Qantas’s trademark, but the new look is not Expected to be debuted up to 2027.
“We have ambitious plans for the future and the transformation of the way we reflect the brand are critical for it,” Ms Hudson said.

‘With an extensive and growing international and domestic network, a historic fleet renewal program underway and the final border of Global Aviation, just around the corner, it’s time to define a new look for our people that reflect where we road is. ‘
Ms Hudson said Qantas staff will be at the heart of the redesign process, which will begin with the airline that strongly investigates the opinions of his workforce of 17,500.
She thanks designer Martin Grant, who created the current uniform of the airline in 2013 for his work and partnership.

Previous designers include Peter Morrissey, Yves Saint Laurent, George Gross and Harry who and Emilio Pucci, who created iconic uniforms that reflect the most important moments in the 105-year history of the Flying Kangaroo.
Ms Hudson explained that Qantas would engage an Australian designer to create the eleventh uniform in the history of the airline.
It is understood that in the coming months, Qantas will announce the next designer for the new uniform as soon as it has investigated its workforce.
Qantas plans to debut the new design in 2027, with the new look that forms part of the most important fleet investments of the airline.
The National Carrier’s historic renewal program will be added more than 100 aircraft in the next decade.
The airline’s ‘Project Sunrise’ – mentioned as the final boundary of aviation – is introduced with the newly ordained A350-1000 in mid -2026.
The new uniforms come after a turbulent year for the surrounding airline, with Qantas achieving a 28 percent drop in the profit after tax to $ 1.25 billion in the 2024 financial year.
The decline in profits was largely due to the moderation of rates, increased spending on customers initiatives and reduced cargo income.

The airline focused on winning its customers to increase its profits with passenger promotions and Inflight services after a year’s headings on safety rating, legitimate battles and Prime Minister Anthony Albanian’s free benefits.
