Anupama Written Update Today (August 12, 2024) –
Toshu’s doubt and Meenu’s visit
Toshu shares with Vanraj that he had already been suspicious of Meenu as she often visited Asha Bhavan. Pakhi sarcastically comments on Meenu choosing only one poor guy in the whole world. Baa hears this and gets shocked. Dimpy brings a video with Sagar and Meenu, but Titu tries to stop her. Pakhi reveals that their father has already seen the video.
When Kinjal asks what happened, Toshu tells her not to defend Meenu, implying that she is not innocent. Pakhi supports this, but Kinjal insists that it could be a misunderstanding. Baa sits down in distress, worried about what to say to Dolly and Sanjay. Pakhi adds that they don’t know what Meenu does when she is alone.
Vanraj’s Imaginary Confrontation
Vanraj sees Meenu coming and imagines telling her that freedom does not suit her, and accuses her of breaking his trust by visiting Asha Bhavan. He threatens to restrict her movements and says she will not meet Sagar or leave the house unattended. In her imagination, Meenu defends Sagar and says that she loves him and that he is a good person. Vanraj then snaps out of his thoughts and storms out angrily.
Meenu’s Fear at the Ashram
Meenu changes her clothes at the ashram and feels scared even though she is a psychologist. Anupama consoles her and says she understands how it feels. Meanwhile, Bala attends to Sagar’s injuries and asks why he fought with so many goons. Sagar replies that it was about protecting a girl’s honor. Anupama helps Meenu by sewing her dress sleeve and urges her to change her clothes and talk to Vanraj before doing so.
Vanraj’s disappointment and Meenu’s plea
Vanraj and Toshu see Meenu coming out of the ashram along with others. Kinjal and Titu try to calm Baa, who fears that Dolly and Sanjay Kumar will break ties with them. Baa expresses concern that it is four times harder to take care of someone else’s daughter. Kinjal warns Baa to calm down for his health, but Baa feels stuck in constant trouble since their arrival.
Vanraj notices Meenu looking upset and asks what happened, but she assures him that everything is fine. But she soon breaks down and tells them everything, explaining that Sagar saved her and that she went to Mami because she always remembers her in times of trouble. Vanraj decides to call Dolly and says that he will send Meenu back as she is not listening to him. Meenu, in tears, asks Vanraj not to send her back and explains everything to her mother on the phone.
Anupama and Nandita’s worries
Anupama and Nandita pack tiffins and talk about Indra, who hasn’t called or answered their messages. Nandita mentions that they only have four tiffin orders, and Anupama suggests they try to get canteen orders from the college.
Vanraj’s expectations from Meenu
Vanraj stops Meenu from touching his feet and says that she is not just his niece but like a daughter to him. He remembers placing her feet on his forehead when she was born and taking her blessings. Vanraj admits that he has no hopes for Toshu and Pakhi but has high expectations for her. He mentions that Toshu and Pakhi are not listening to him, but he hopes she will.
Meenu’s Dilemma and Sagar’s Resolve
Sagar thinks of Meenu as he puts on his uniform and decides not to think about her as they are not a good match. Vanraj warns Meenu that associating with Sagar will ruin his reputation in the community and asks her to cut ties with him. Meenu agrees to follow his wishes.
After Vanraj leaves, Toshu and Pakhi also warn her, and Baa tells her not to dishonor the family. Meenu cries and hugs Kinjal, feeling the burden of expectations and questions why there are conditions in relationships. She expresses a deep connection with Mami and sees Sagar as a good friend. Meanwhile, Bala informs Anupama about someone saving Anuj from electrocution and asks her to find Aadhya to keep him safe.
