A plane passenger has been slapped after he invaded the personal space of a fellow traveler by “shamelessly” spreading his legs.
An unnamed woman, who was flying with United Airlines, went to Reddit to put the man on blast.
She shared an image of his legs touching hers in a thread with the caption I overreact.
The frequent flyer – who sat in the middle seat – unleashed an angry rant about inconsiderate passengers on the discussion forum.
In the shocking image, her legs could be seen being squeezed by the man sitting to her left.
The post was titled: ‘Am I overreacting – airplane personal space violators?’
She captioned the image: ‘I’m always sitting next to people shamelessly spreading in my bubble.
‘He is not tall with long legs and immediately claimed the armrest elbowing my side. Seriously, this happens 75 percent of the time I’m in the middle seat.’

People on the web flooded the comments section and branded the man a ‘creep’ to be in her personal space.
One person wrote: ‘I’m 6ft3 in with insanely long legs flying economy.
“I would 100 percent need to swing some things around gracefully, if you know what I mean, and adjust so that my knees don’t stick into the seat, but can stay completely with my area.”
“That guy is 100 percent a creep.”
Another user added: ‘Tell them to give you space.
“If they don’t comply, call a flight attendant.”
Someone else wrote: ‘No, that’s so weird, surely he knows he’s touching you and it’s not right?
“Men are wild with their leg spreading, I hate it for you!”

Social media users flocked to the comments section and slammed the man
“Yeah, that’s too much,” said a fourth person.
The conversation surrounding plane etiquette has reached a fever pitch in the last few weeks, as passengers have previously revealed that ‘entitled’ fellow fliers once demanded they put away their technology.
One passenger most recently revealed that they were bullied for refusing to switch seats with a fellow flyer.
Pilots have even joined the conversation in recent weeks by sharing the real reason why airplane window frames are round.
