A recently announced collaboration between Shake Shack and Delta Air Lines Officially out and under review.
A Reddit user took to the forum to share a photo of the meal, which officially debuted on Dec. 1 for first-class passengers departing Boston.
The image featured the fast food chain’s flagship burger with additional toppings, including lettuce and tomato, as well as a Caesar salad and a brownie.
Delta brings Shake Shack to flight passengers, but does the meal have a smooth takeoff?
Instead of the classic Shake Shack crinkle fries, the burger meal comes with a bag of chips — much more convenient than trying to reheat fries mid-flight.

A Reddit user captioned the photo, “Not the same as regular stores, but still good!”
The image sparked conversation online as other users shared their thoughts on the release.
Some questioned Berger’s authenticity, doubting whether it was true Shake Shack Or a different burger with the chain’s logo.

“My friend needs to be a part of the BOS taste test, it’s definitely Shake Shack,” commented one user.

“I’ve never had an old cheeseburger, but this tasted like Shake Shack,” the original user replied.
Others were skeptical based on the way the food was presented on the plane.
“Is this a positive or negative post? I ask because that burger is not very appealing and if I were a Shake Shack executive I would be upset with how our (company) product is presented and served,” said another user.

“This is really delicious! The burger looks a little sad when it comes out before I put the toppings on,” commented the original poster.
Fox News Digital has reached out to the Reddit poster for comment.

Instead of paying for a first class seat with the option of Burger selection, Several users decided it was cheaper to buy a burger at the airport and take it on the plane.
“I buy this s— before boarding. At least it comes with fries,” one user wrote.
The burger available on the plane is the same Angus burger available at brick-and-mortar locations across the country.

This menu item will be available to pre-selected first class diners seven days prior to the departure date and can be edited up to 24 hours prior to takeoff, Delta announced in a recent press release.

In fact, this is not the first time an airline has brought in a fast food burger to the sky
“Fast-food partnerships aren’t new (as) United once partnered with McDonald’s on specially equipped galley carts to keep meat warm while keeping cold items cold,” Leff told Fox News Digital last month.

Leff said Shake Shack and Delta partnered in 2016 when Delta served burgers to business-class customers flying between JFK and LAX.
