Houston man A 28-year-old mother and her 2-year-old child have been arrested and charged after allegedly fatally stabbing them.
29-year-old Kendrick Rayvon Fisher has been charged Capital murder for the deaths, according to the Houston Police Department.
Around 3:30 a.m. Friday, HPD officers were flagged down and told an adult female and child were being held hostage in an apartment, according to a news release.

When officers entered the third-floor apartment, they found Fisher lying on the couch. While conducting a security sweep, they found the victims in the apartment.
HPD says Both victims had multiple stab wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers observed wounds consistent with a physical altercation and blood on Fisher’s clothing. Working with homicide detectives Harris County The district attorney’s office ultimately decided there was enough evidence to charge him and book him in the Harris County Jail.

According to prison records, Fisher was released from prison in December last year. He served a seven-year sentence for armed robbery and additional time for contraband.
The identity has not been released pending further notification of next of kin.
