Adele is allegedly house hunting in the UK after being ‘disappointed’ by Hollywood

Adele reportedly feeling “homesick” and said to be looking to return to the UK after becoming “disillusioned” with Hollywood.

The singer, who recently confirmed her engagement to the sports agent Rich Paulare house hunting for a “beautiful” home in the UK.

After wowing fans during her stay in Vegas, Adele has announced that she plans to take a break from music to relax and focus on herself.

According to Daily MailGrammy Award-winning singer Adele is seemingly tired of Hollywood and wants to move back home.

A source told the news agency that she is already looking for a new place to call home in the UK, one that is “beautiful and safe” in the “capital”.

They also noted that Adele has no intention of selling her stunning $58 million Beverly Hills mansion that she shares with her fiance, Paul, but only wants to spend half the year in the US and the other half in her home country.

“She plans to keep her house in LA, but wants to spend at least half the year at home,” the source said.

Adele, who finally ended her two-year stint in Las Vegas on November 23, is said to be determined to move back to the UK with her eight-year-old and her partner, Paul.

However, sources claim that Paul is trying to convince her not to move. “Rich has tried to talk her out of it, but Adele is a very strong woman,” the source claimed. “Once she’s made up her mind, no one can change it.”

When the singer initially bought her home in Los Angeles, many expected her to make the place her permanent home.

Reports have also previously claimed that Adele planned to move into acting, with the singer allegedly taking acting lessons to sharpen her skills, and even telling her team to tell top producers and filmmakers.

However, Adele did not get the opportunities she was allegedly hoping for and this left her feeling “disillusioned” with Hollywood.

“She thought she was already getting film offers after her reps said a few months ago that she wanted to follow in Lady Gaga’s footsteps and go into film,” the source said. “But nothing has materialized on that front so far.”

During her stay in Las Vegas at Caesar’s Palace, Adele held up her left hand to show off her stunning pear-shaped engagement ring, confirming her engagement to Rich Paul.

A video shared on X captured the moment fans erupted into applause as the famous artist sang: “In these crazy times I hope to find / something I can hold on to,” proudly flashing the ring.

The 36-year-old singer and 43-year-old sports agent have been together for three years, and Adele first shared the news of their engagement in August during a concert in Germany.

When a fan proposed to her from the audience, she cheekily replied: “I can’t marry you because I’m already getting married, so I can’t.”

Speculation about their engagement began weeks before when Adele was spotted leaving London’s Chiltern Firehouse wearing a sparkly ring. However, the timeline of Paul’s proposal remains a mystery.

Fans also spotted the singer wearing a diamond ring at the 2022 Brit Awards, fueling early rumors that their relationship was taking the next step.

Back in June, a source said People Magazine that the relationship between the duo was “solid”, suggesting at the time that they were in for the long haul.

“They help each other and are great partners,” the insider said of the pair, adding that Adele “loves being with” Paul.

In the past, Paul has also confirmed how they mutually helped each other throughout their relationship.

“She’s been amazing, I think she agrees that we definitely helped each other,” the 41-year-old said of Adele during an interview on “CBS Morning” with host Gayle King, according to Daily Mail.

He added at the time, “I’m in a good space, we’re in a good space. Happy. She’s great. She’s been good to me. We’ve been good to each other.”

The sports agent also playfully dodged the question of whether Adele should be called “Mrs Paul”. He said: “You can say what you want,” before noting that the information was not for the media.

Adele and Paul were romantically linked after being spotted attending the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns NBA Finals together in July 2021.

Then, in September of that year, they appeared together at NBA star Anthony Davis and Marlen P’s wedding in Los Angeles.

After the ceremony, Adele took to her Instagram account to share highlights, which included photos of her and Paul.

Two months later, the “Rolling In The Deep” singer gushed about the sports agent as they shared details of how they met at a party years ago.

“Rich came unbelievably,” she said of Paul, per People. “I don’t feel anxious or nervous or down. It’s the opposite. It’s wild.” She then added, “He’s amazing. He’s so damn funny. He’s so smart, you know.”

Since then, the two have been spotted together at more NBA games, dinner dates, vacations, and other high-profile events.
