The Italian Museum has called on parents to be a “art honor” after shooting a couple who break a chair covered with hundreds of shiny crystals.
In a piece released by Verona’s Pala ZZO Mafe, the man and the woman are taking pictures of each other while pretending to sit on the so -called “van gag” chair.
Then the man slips and falls on the chair, grinding it under him.
Officials say the couple fled from the museum before the staff noticed what happened.
He has notified the police about this unidentified pair.
“Sometimes we lose our brain to take a picture, and we don’t think about the consequences,” says Vanessa Carlan, director of the museum.
“Of course this is an accident, but these two went out without talking to us – it’s not an accident,” he says. “This is a nightmare for any museum”.
The BBC understands that the incident occurred in April. Pala ZZO Mafe released the piece on June 12.
The chair is built by Italian artist Nikola Bolla and is bezewel with a smooth, machine-cut glass, Swarovsky crystals. Vincent Van Gag is named after Dutch artists A painting of a simple chair.
Bolla’s piece was somewhat invaluable, in which BBC refused to give an estimate of its value when asked by the BBC.
Pala ZZO Mafie -based art historian Carlotta Menega ZZ says – when it looks sturdy – its frame is mostly hollow and placed together with foil.
“There was a note that warned people not to touch the chair, and it was placed on the pedestal, so it was clear that it was not a real chair,” says MS Menegazzo.
The two legs and the main seat are broken, but the MS Menega Zzo says that the “a great job” has been done to restore the piece and is now in effect again.
The Pala ZZO Mafi was launched in 2020 and 650 pieces were displayed, including paintings of Picasso and ancient Egyptian art.
M.S. Carlan says, and he hopes that this release of CCTV footage will not be a “negative episode.”
Instead, they want to highlight “someone must enter art places or museums or churches, wherever art is displayed, in a more respectful way.”
“Art should be respected and loved because it is too weak,” he says.
