Air India has canceled four international and four domestic flights from the “extended causes of service and operation”. This happens when the carrier plans to cut 38 international flights per week and suspend three foreign routes between June 21 to July 15.
He canceled the AI906 international flights from Dubai to Chennai, AI308 from Delhi to Melbourne, AI309 from Melbourne in Delhi, and AI2204 Mumbai and AI571 from Mumbai.
The airline announced that it would reduce 38 international flights per week and suspend three foreign routes for about three weeks. The airline owned by Tata Group said the reduction was aimed at restoring the stability of the schedule and minimizing the inconvenience at the last minute passengers after the air crash on June 12 in Ahmedabad.
The airline will suspend Delhi-Narobi Routes, Amritsar London and Goa (MOPA) -london (Gatwick) until July 15. Delhi-Narobe has four flights per week, while Amritsar-London and Goa-London have three flights weekly. In addition, the flights will be reduced by 18 international routes connecting cities in North America, Europe, Australia and the Far East.
North American Deli-Toronto Routes, Deli-Vancouver, Delhi-San Francis, Delhi-Chicago and Delhi Vashington. European routes with reduced Delhi-London Hitrov, Bengalur-London Hitrov, Amritsar-Birmingham, Delhi-Birmingham, Delhi Paris, Delhi-Milan, Del-Copenhagen, Delhi-Vienne and Delhli Amsterdam. Delhi-Gallabourne, Delhi Sydney, Delhi-Teau Hadena and Delhi-Seul (Inchon) were also shortened.
Air India said the decrease resulted in an extended pre-flight security check and additional flight duration due to the closure of air space in the Middle East. CEO and head Director Campbell Wilson said the airline will continue these security checks on its Foeing 787 and 777 fleets as a measure of trust.
Air India addresses the victims of passengers to offer re -placing on alternative flights, free transfer or complete refund according to their preferences.
