Texas family An alleged drunk driver is picking up the pieces after killing his 7-year-old daughter in a devastating crash that also injured her mother.
Joel Gonzalez Chacin, 41, appeared in court Tuesday morning accused of causing the crash that killed her, the suspected drunken driver.
The death of 2nd grader Ivory Smith was charged with intoxication manslaughter. Klenk Elementary School in Houston.
The devastating crash also seriously injured Smith’s mother, Christina Quinoo.

Authorities confirmed to Fox News Digital that the 41-year-old was drunk when he T-boned Christina and her young daughter at 2:45 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1.

His bond was set at $150,000.00 by the 232nd District Court.

The family said Kwinoo has fully recovered from the devastating loss of her young daughter.
