AppleThe next user interface review, according to “liquid glass”, is prepared for its great revelation. According to BloombergMark GurmanThe next redesign of the interface will have “Sheen visuals and visuals of a glass surface”. More specifically, the new Apple design language will have “transparency and shine effects” on its toolbars, interfaces and control controls.
It may seem like a surface change, but it is rare that Apple makes such an important change to its user interface. The last major change of ios was from iOS 7 when Apple shot his iconic skutmorphism design in favor of a more simplified design we have today.
However, Gurman reported that Apple could be preparing the liquid glass for the eventual twentieth anniversary of the iPhone next year. According to Gurman, the next launch of the 20th anniversary of the iPhone will have “glass sides curved around the entire phone, even on the edges”. In addition, this special iPhone will have “extraordinarily thin bevels and no cut -off section on the screen” to better combine the next redesign.
It’s not the first time we have been hearing about Apple rumored redesignthat was expected to be inspired by Apple Vision Pro. With this liquid glass design, Apple could unify the appearance of its interfaces to all its devices and make it less than a dramatic visual change when it is changed between your Pro and iPhone vision. This great visual change is expected to align with iOS 26, macos, watchos, iPados and Tvos. We look forward to seeing the Apple Liquid Glass Debut during WWDC 2025 which will start on June 9, at 13:00 ET/10: 00 Pt.
