Apple presents the live translation, driven by Apple Intelligence, for messages, facetime and telephone calls.
“The live translation can translate the conversation about the march,” said Leslie Ikemoto, Apple’s entry experience director, during the WWDC event. The translation function is “enabled by Apple -built models that work completely on your device so that your personal conversations are personal.”
In messages, live translation will automatically translate the text while writing and delivering it in your favorite language. In the same way, when the person who responds responds, each text can be translated instantly.
When updated at Facetime, the Apple Translation function will provide live subtitles. And in a phone call, whether you talk to an Apple user or not, your words can be translated as you speak, and the translation is spoken aloud for the call recipient. As the person speaking responds in their own language, you will feel a spoken translation of his voice.
“For developers, it is easy to enable live translation for calls within your communication applications with a new API,” said Ikemoto.
Apple still did not share how many languages would be available.
