Boston Dynamics has revealed new details on how his Humanoid Atlas robot sees and interacts with the world around him.
Robot’s-EYE view combines two-dimensional images caught by cameras on board, positioning Atlas joints to orientation to space, a 3D image of its environment in the depth of caliber, as well as CAD files of objects that the robot has been trained to make real-time predictions on how an object is oriented in space.
The latest Boston Dynamics Atlas update includes an in -depth breakdown of how the robot sees the world.
Atlas constantly updates his perception of the world around him to react to changes in the environment (such as when Boston Dynamics employees move things or drop objects on the floor).
