Jude Bellingham found the back of the net for a fifth successive La Liga game as Real Madrid bounced back from a midweek defeat to beat Girona.
Bellingham, Arda Guler and Kylian Mbappe all scored as Los Blancos beat Girona 3-0 at the Estadio Municipal de Montilivi on Saturday.
The 21-year-old English midfielder will become the first Real Madrid player since Karim Benzema in 2021 to score in five consecutive Premier League games.
Bellingham hadn’t found the back of the net before this season before those latest goals.

Real’s number five opened the scoring in the 36th minute before Guler netted his side’s second after the break.
After the hit, Bellingham had to replace Dani Ceballos.
Real added a third when Kylian Mbappe scored his ninth La Liga goal after Luka Modric set up.
The result came just three days after Madrid were beaten 2-1 by the high-flying club and moved Carlo Ancelotti’s men within two points of leaders Barcelona with a game in hand.
Catalan rivals Real drew 2-2 at home last day. Robert Lewandowski scored his 23rd goal in 21 games for the club this season, but it was not enough to prevent Barcelona from keeping a clean sheet for the fourth time in five La Liga games.

Lewandowski scored in the 39th minute at the Benito Villamarin Stadium before Giovani Lo Celso equalized with a penalty in the 68th minute after Frenkie de Jong had been sent off for bringing down former Barca team-mate Vitor Roque. was done
Ferran Torres restored the visitors’ lead but Betis equalized in the 94th minute when Assan Diao leveled at 2-2.
Next up for Real is a trip to Atalanta in the Champions League on Tuesday, while Barcelona travel to Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.
