As Pitt approaches his 61st birthday on December 18, a source says Page six that the actor “misses his children and wishes he had a closer relationship with them, especially with celebrating the holidays and his birthday this month.”
The insider added that Pitt feels Christmas “won’t be the same” without quality time with his family.
The actor shares six children with ex-wife Angelina Jolie: Maddox, 23; Pax, 21; Zahara, 19; Shiloh, 18; and 16-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne.
The former couple finalized their divorce in 2019 and have since been embroiled in a protracted legal battle over their French vineyard, Château Miraval.

Earlier this year, the outlet reported that the Oscar-winning actor “felt hurt” when his daughter Shiloh legally dropped her last name on her 18th birthday.

According to People Magazinea source revealed that Pitt and de Ramon planned a special Thanksgiving, prioritizing family time.
“They both love to cook and will cook together for everyone,” the source said.
