After the AI India AI AI AI AI AI AI AI Flight Celebration Civil Aviation (DGCA), a high -level meeting with Air India Campbell Wilson and Air India Express. The meeting was focused on considering the protocols of the airline, operational discipline and passenger service mechanisms.
The regulator has directed Air India to make greater emphasis on aircraft safety and timely service, as well as delaying flight operations and reducing departure delays. In the light of repeated passenger complaints, DGCA has indicated poor crisis communication and lack of delay and interruptions calling for immediate improvements.
DGCA asked the airline to provide better coordination between flights and ground teams, especially during emergencies and unexpected stops. The regulator emphasized the need for rapid passengers upgrade, more smooth restructuring options and overall increased service standards to reduce the inconvenience during operational factory.
This meeting occurs as a result of strengthening public control after the AI 171 disaster. DGCA also asked for a substantiated internal review of the airline and is waiting for a detailed report on the measures taken to prevent future incidents. In the coming weeks, the regulator will closely monitor the operational execution of Air India operations.
On Tuesday, Air India canceled six international flights operating Boeing 787 Dreamliners when the airline launched the checks on the type of planes among the updated global checks on the flagship Boeing.
The canceled flights include AI 915 (Delhi -Dubai), AI 153 (Delhi – Vienne), AI 143 (Delhi – Paris), AI 159 (Ahmedabad – London), AI 133 (Bengaluru – London) and AI 170 (London – Amritsar). In a separate incident, the AI 315 flight from Hong Kong was forced to return in the air due to a technical failure, while the San Francisco service reported falling asleep while stopping in Calcutta.
Air India said that the abolition of the Ahmedabad Service – London Gatwick was not related to some mechanical problem, but related to the inaccuracy of aircraft caused by restrictions on airspace and constant preventive inspections. The airline stressed that the decision was active and made with great caution, dismissing claims against a technical fault.
Developments come at a time when the Dreamliner 787 Boeing series is facing new regulatory attention around the world.
