Sleep monitoring is not new in Garmin’s Fitness watches, but the company’s last portable is a dedicated smart sleep. The Sleep Monitor Index offers battery duration for a week with continuous monitoring of dust bull to control blood oxygen saturation while sleeping.
Garmin’s tracker is brought to the upper arm, which should do it more comfortable, where it traces a variety of metrics: the temperature of the skin; Stages of light, deep and rowing sleep; and variations in heart rate and breathing. The data is combined to provide a personalized daily sleep score that can be seen in the Garmin Connect application. If you already use a Smartwatch Garmin but do not sleep with your wrist, the Son Index monitor is designed to add the missing metrics to the views you already get from the clock.
Skin temperature monitoring gives you a better idea of how your sleep environment affects the quality of your sleep, while potential diseases indicated by temperature changes. This metric also extends to the monitoring of menstrual health, with changes in skin temperature useful for cycles monitoring, past ovulation estimates and the offer of what Garmin describes as “improved period predictions”.
The Garmin Monitor Sleep index will also oversee your levels of energy, providing your “body battery” measures that advise you to rest more when reading is low. Once again, this knowledge should be more accurate and reliable when combined with a compatible compatible smartwatch during the day. The sleep band will also keep track of stress throughout the night and has an intelligent alarm that seeks to wake up -gently during the lighter sleep stages, so you will feel less tired.
The Son Index monitor is available in SM and L-XL sizes and costs $ 170.
