Although the seats should not yet be introduced on any airline, the design was divided with many travelers saying they never want to fly in one.
However, a poll revealed that Gen Z travelers are much more open to the idea of flying without a seat if the price is ‘significantly’ cheaper.
A new poll in Yougov asked British: ‘For two-hour flights or less, if ticket costs were significantly lower, how willing or unwilling would you be to discuss a’ half chair ‘effectively like a bicycle chair with a full backup and poor rest? ‘
The majority of British were not at all in 62 percent idea and said that they were either “quite reluctant” or “very reluctant” to let the seat go.
But Gen Z was looking for the challenge.
More than half (53 percent) of the age between 18-24 said they would be willing to give a standing seat if the price was significantly lower.

Those who are 65 years and older were the least likely to go on a standing seat with just 11 percent and said they would be willing to try.
Men were slightly more likely than women to be prepared to travel on a standing seat by 32 percent and say they would try it, compared to 21 percent of women.
But how would it actually feel?
A spokesman for Aviosinteriors who tried the company’s prototype design told MailOnline: ‘I just put in it for five minutes, of course I didn’t travel in those seats (long).
“I ride horses, so for me it felt comfortable. Who knows if you sat in it for two hours or three hours, how it would feel? ‘
