A German politician invited his entire country invitation to compile him on an epic nudist vineyard holiday in his efforts to promote “niche tourism” in his municipality.
Julien Ferrat, city councilor of Mannheim and a representative of the local political party ‘The Mannheime’, announced in May that his plan to host a steaming holiday with an ‘interesting political program’.
Ferrat cordially invited ‘curious and open-minded citizens’ to accompany him on an eight-night journey to a naturist village in Cap d’Agde, southern France -Known as a Paradise -Hotspot among those in the Swinger community.
To ensure that no participant after the resort is ‘unprepared’, a training camp with outside sex will be held in advance on the Friesenheimer Insel in Mannheim.
Ferrat, who intends to act as the ‘player coach’ during training, hopes to combine ‘theory and practice’ while exploring ‘Village Naturists’, and aims to’ secure the group ‘as a well -coordinated team’.
He emphasized that the training camp ‘excludes the media’ to protect the privacy of the participants.
Ferrat explained: ‘In Cap d’Agde, sex on the beach is literally taken. And anyone who has always wanted to shop naked in the supermarket can easily enjoy the desire there.
“Having sex in your own bedroom is different from the beach with a group of masturbating men like in Cap d’Agde.”

According to the councilor, a ‘big deal’ can be learned from the Project Village, which is now a leading Naturist Resort on the Mediterranean coast with professional swinger clubs and naked restaurants, bars and a beach.
The Seaside Hotpot was designed as an independent city in the 1970s and has since grown into one of the most important sources of income for AGDE – although the fenced town would cease to exist without the government’s support for tourism.
Ferrat said: “Without the state’s tourism funding under the mission Racine, this place would never have been created.”
In Cap d’Agde, he plans to conduct discussions with the tourist office and local business owners, including hotel operators.
Surprisingly, the councilor’s proposal was met with great opposition to fellow leaders, including the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU), currently the strongest political party of Germany.
The district chairman, Christian Hötting, blew Ferrat’s’ hasty ‘plan, while Ferrat fired:’ As a friend of freedom of speech, I will always advocate Mr. Hötting’s right to express his opinion – even if in this case I am explicitly not with it.
‘As Mr. Hötting in the educational journey would participate, some of his prejudices against nudists and swingers may be broken down. “
As for repeated objections from the City Council, he added: ‘During the last budget discussions, I have suggested that he is going forward something similar to promote niche tourism. Surprisingly, the proposal was rejected. ‘

‘Many politicians offer educational trips to the Bundestag and the European Parliament. So I thought: Let’s do something else. ‘
Despite the setback, Ferrat’s unconventional journey seems to have gained momentum.
On May 16, 75 people expressed interest in the visit to Cap d’Agde, with 22 people – including 14 men and eight women – confirming their place.
Six participants come from Mannheim, three of the nearby Rhein-Neckar journey and two of the nearby Rhein-Pfalz trip, while two other participants live elsewhere in Germany.
Participants will be discussed in a hut during their stay in the resort, although a confirmed date has yet to be unveiled.
From the public’s response, the councilor said: “I was very happy that the first interested people now contacted me by email.”
However, Ferrat further emphasized the political component of the journey: to investigate how AGDE has become a global pivot in nudist and sex tourism – and how it can increase Mannheim’s local economy.
He added that there are no municipal subsidies for what is “by far the most interesting educational journey ever offered to Mannheim residents.”
