Kyrgisia – 7/10
“If you are serious about” getting off the beaten path “, this is the place to do it,” explains the experienced traveler.
‘Kyrgyzs have only a limited tourism infrastructure, which provides a true adventurous journey. I went to song-cheat on a three-day horse trip, a remote freshwater lake located between the mountains, and it was an unforgettable journey. ‘

Mexico – 8/10
Sabina cannot choose just one recommendation for Mexico and says, ‘There is so much to do in Mexico that it is impossible to choose just one activity!

The solo traveler says: “A true European jewelry for adventurous travelers! It’s hard to choose just one place, but Gjirocaster and Berat are both excellent choices for history lovers. ‘
Gjirocaster and Berat are both historical cities that have awarded the UNESCO status.
Kosovo – 7/10
Sabina explains: ‘Kosovo is a small country (the’ country ‘status is still disputed) and you can easily see it in a few days. This makes it ideal for shorter breaks from the UK. ‘
How does Sabina reach her ratings?
She explains: ‘My ratings are a mix of subjective experiences from my journeys and broader safety trends in every country.
“It is never my intention to promote a rosy view from abroad or ignore their darker realities.
“But I also find the narrative that travel abroad as a woman is dangerous – a narrative that is severely pushed by certain parts of society – incredibly problematic. The sad truth is that existing as a woman is dangerous anywhere.
‘In the UK, a woman is killed by a man every three days. In a 2021 survey among 1,000 women living in the UK, 97 percent of participants reported that they had been harassed or assaulted. In addition, some countries are considered less safe for women than others. ‘
Would she give a perfect 10 anywhere?
No. The experienced traveler reveals: “In my opinion, such a score is not possible in the world of today.”
Would she recommend visiting each of the destinations as a solo glorious?

Sabina near Lake Issyk-Kul in Kirgisia (7/10). The adventurer, who visited 66 countries, wants to show women ‘that solo journey is not something to be afraid of’
Sabina tells MailOnline Travel: ‘Yes and No. If you go abroad for the first time, these are not the places I would recommend.
‘It is best to start easily, build your trust and then tackle these more’ challenging ‘destinations.
“For solo travelers, I would recommend staying closer to home, choosing destinations without a large language or cultural barrier, or visiting destinations such as Thailand that are popular with other solo travelers.”
She adds: ‘I find it incredibly important to show women that solo journey is not something to be afraid of. Bad things can happen abroad, just as it can happen at home.
‘It is extremely important that travelers do their research before they go abroad and listen to the government’s guidelines, especially in conflict areas. But above this fairly obvious restrictions, women should not stop traveling solo for fear. ‘
