A Catholic priest said that he knows that the Devil is real because he has met him face to face with the demon.
Father Carlos Martins performed many exorcisms during his 20 years of ministry, to cleanse people who are mocked by words, darkness and wounds disappear.
‘Exorcists are often asked if the exorcisms depicted in the famous 1973 film, The Exorcist, are accurate,’ said Mr Martins.
‘With the exception of one surprise – the three hundred and sixty head turn by the hostage – everything in the video shows what a hostage can do.’
The horrors of demonic possession he has witnessed in the past two decades have included shaking, severe facial changes and hatred of God.
Mr. Martins explained exorcism he did on a middle-aged woman and when ‘it was about to start, she locked arms with the man whose job it was to restrain her and threw her over her head like a rag doll.’
‘The man was over six feet tall and weighed three hundred pounds. Doing a full turn in the air, he landed ten feet in front of him.
The woman then pointed her finger at the nearest light fixture on the wall, about twelve feet away. One of the screws holding the switch cover loosened itself and slid into his open right hand.
‘He slipped it into his left arm. Later, in the same session, he punched me in the face so hard that I needed two surgeries to repair the damage to my skull.’

Father Carlos Martins has performed many exorcisms during his 20 years of ministry, cleansing people who are scorned by words, extinguished and healed.
Although Mr. Martins says that he has caused a lot of controversy, scientists say that such people are only caused by mental disorders.
“Some patients who were thought to be demon-possessed and treated with neuroleptics later went into remission, which supports the biochemical theory,” Dr Amin Muhammad Gadit, professor of psychiatry at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, said.
‘There may also be a possible explanatory role related to abnormal dysfunction of brain structures in the region of the fourth ventricle, either genetic or environmental or a combination thereof.’
Some studies have shown that having the disease was caused by psychological problems such as mental illness, trauma, severe confusion, or cultural beliefs.
But these thoughts did not stop Martins father in his fight against evil.
In his new book, ‘The Exorcist Files: True Stories About Real Evil and How to Overcome It’, Mr. Martins reveals some of the challenges he has faced that reveal the reality of the Devil and his followers.
‘People ask me what it’s like to fight the Devil. My enemy is hate itself,’ says the book.
‘When I go into the room to cast out demons, mocked and mocked by the old serpent, who refused to obey God, who overthrew our first parents, who delights in every misfortune and suffering of man; he meets me directly.’

A childless woman
One of the most painful things that Mr. Martin had to deal with came from a young couple, Cheryl and Mark. All names in his books have been changed to remain confidential.
The couple failed to conceive, leaving Cheryl devastated and filled the space with an obsession with baby clothes, diapers, baby toys and a crib.
But things got worse when he started collecting dead insects, such as foxes, grasshoppers, wasps, moths, and butterflies, and placed them near the empty bed.
‘Someone told me it would help me get pregnant,’ Cheryl told Mar.
‘When they die, their spirits roam around their bodies looking for a place to create a new life. Death releases the power of life. I need that power to make a baby in my womb.’
The porch began to fill with squirrels and dead birds, which increased Mark’s concern for his wife who also paid. thousands of dollars to a healer who told her to use the life force of dead animals to get pregnant.
Finally, Mark follows Cheryl to the pet store and arrives home in a very scary place.
Cheryl stood over several dead rats, one of them shivering, and when Mark looked at her, she said in a deep, strange voice, ‘Keep these rats.’
Mark asked his Methodist minister for help, who said, ‘You need to go to the Catholics to help you with this. They are the only ones who have a handle on this type.’
Father Martins arrived at his house to talk to Cheryl who turned around and said, ‘Why did you bring this adulterous priest here!’
‘Who are you?’, Mr. Martins asked.
‘You know who I am’, Cheryl replied.
After eight sessions of exorcism, he was cleansed.
Mr. Martins wrote, ‘Ultimately, it took the pain, humiliation, and powerlessness of demonic possession to drive Cheryl to look to God—instead of motherhood—for meaning.’
Arrested firefighter
Jeremy, a firefighter in his 20s, went to Mr. Martins church for help because of his strange behavior, days of blackouts and unexplained injuries.
When he revealed himself, I found Jeremy to be polite, soft-spoken, and gracious—the epitome of a gentleman,’ Mr. Martins said in his book.
‘From his demeanour, no one would have thought anything was wrong with him.’
Because of the initial curiosity, Mr. Martins had to perform the Rite of Exorcism of the Catholic Church to confirm that the boy was indeed possessed.
The exorcism ritual involves various prayers, including the Lord’s Prayer, the Hail Mary, and the Athanasian Creed, by a priest using holy water and a cross.

He tells the story of his battles with demons in his new book, The Exorcist Files (The Exorcist Files).
The book says: ‘This ritual requires confirmation that a person has an exorcist before performing it.’
‘Certainty of morals’ is understood as a conclusion that any reasonable and rational person can arrive at by presenting the collected evidence.’
Mr. Martins and Jeremey talked to each other for a while, discussing what had happened to the firemen before the fire and that was when the source of the goods was revealed.
Jeremy remembered when he was eight years old and his brother’s friend brought a Ouija board to the house and asked him to participate.
He remembered that the planchette was moving in response to the various questions that the group asked and that night, Jeremy fell asleep and saw a black man in his room.
‘The figure was so dark that, even with the lights off, everything else in the room looked like daylight. Apart from being very black, the only other thing he remembers is that it had the body of a man but the head of a cat,” Mr Martins said.
Jeremey said the figure promised to give him whatever he needed to get his life back. And as a boy, he dreamed of being a fireman.
Mr. Martins gave Jeremey a book with a small drop of Holy Water on the cover and when he grabbed it, he ‘shot out of his chair and back to his upper body.’
‘Demon, who are you?’ I asked.
‘%&$# you, priest!’ He replied. ‘He is mine. He gave himself to me. You will not have him!’
‘Demon, I want to talk to Jeremy,’ I said.

Some of the worst demonic possessions he has seen in the past two decades have included shaking, severe facial changes and hatred of God.
He replied with a slow laugh.
‘In the name of Jesus, I command you to give birth to Jeremy,’ I said.
Father Minsters repeatedly told Jeremey that he needed to leave the demon and ‘say Jesus is your Lord.’
Jeremy forced the words, and the demon was expelled from his body, Mr. Martins said.
A haunted music box
One of Mr. Martins first encounters with the Devil happened when he was sent to Afghanistan to teach the Gospel.
He came face to face with the spiritual power of the Devil when he helped a woman whose house was destroyed by fire – so she moved into her uncle’s house.
“Not long after, he started hearing voices calling him from the adjacent rooms and noises inside the wall,” said Mr. Martins.
‘Devices turn on and off automatically, and things that sit comfortably on the table or computer suddenly fall to the floor. The incident scared him.’
Even though ghosts were strange to him, he saw that they were showing him something that he didn’t want to be there.
‘Even the air seemed to oppose me. I was warned: Leave or else!’ Then the woman shouted, ‘That’s the music box,’ said Mr. Martins.
In the past he mentioned a music box that just randomly came out of his uncle’s room – even after the lock was removed.
Father Martins blessed each room with holy water – but found something surprising inside the music box.
“I reached down and picked it up without any problem, and as soon as I got my hands on it, it stopped crying,” he said.
‘I opened the lid to look inside. To our surprise, the music box didn’t catch anything. There were no panels, no chimes, no wind turbines, and no place for batteries.’
‘When I sprinkled them in the box with holy water, they no longer had any demonic experiences and lived peacefully in their uncle’s house.’
Mr. Martins said that he would have been content as a priest, without meeting a single demon, saying: ‘As much as I enjoy doing this job, I have never had the pleasure of meeting the Devil and his minions.’
