Cara, a vlogger who has 75,000 subscribers The magic geeks channel on Youtubetold viewers that she was blown with her ‘thoughts’ after visiting the destination in North England.
She described Kreseseborough As “an absolute gem,” and a place where she “wanted to visit” for years, after seeing it in a video.
Fortunately for Cara, “it absolutely met the hype”.
“This charming place completely stole my heart with its medieval castle-ruins, fantastic cream tea in a 400-year-old tea room and the oldest paid tourist attraction of England.”
She refers to the cave of Mother Shipton, which has been open since 1630 and is known as the birthplace of Ursula Southeil, a 16th century prophet known for her ominous predictions.
She added: “I was seriously considering the end of the day how much the houses cost the river …”
Her first impression was early in the morning that it was “a lovely, almost sleepy, quiet Yorkshire city”.

“Not only can you see the surrounding countryside, there is a wonderful view of the viaduct and the lower part of the city. It’s just really beautiful here. ‘
The Kraresborough Viaduct was completed in 1851 and is a striking piece of Victorian engineering. It stands about 80 feet high with four imposing bows and connects the city to the nearby Harrogates and Leeds.

“I’m sure they’re not cheap, but everyone is very beautiful,” she said.
