Xbox Ally consoles use the game bar and, if you have used the Xbox application in PC, you will find it familiar. In fact, pressing the new Xbox button opens an almost identical version of the guide when playing Xbox Games in PC. However, there is also a new control center tab on the far left to adjust the configuration for energy consumption and performance, similar to what we have seen on the Steam cover.
In Game Bar, you can quickly jump on the start screen, your library, launch games, open applications, chat with friends, adjust settings and more. And this game bar works next to the overlap of the Asus Armory Cala. This is a bit worrying because Armory Crate has had more information as unnecessary Bloatware, but when we get to try the device at the end of this year we will see if Asus has stripped it at the relevant functions instead of adding more at the top.
As a Windows 11 device, you can also launch and use applications such as MODS Discord and Twitch and Access. Xbox Ally Boot directly to the “Xbox Full Screen Experience” similar to how a steam cover is launched in large image mode. The experience on the full screen is specifically optimized for hand and Xbox games told me that the device minimizes background activity and assigns more system resources to the game as the game mode does on Windows. This means more memory and potentially higher brands for your games.
It Rog ally and Ally x You have been a bit out, but Xbox models have some unique functions. In addition to the XBOX button, Rog Xbox Ally also has larger and contoured tweezers. The above ally Rog is more rectangular; The Xbox ally is closer to the design of the PlayStation portal, with a slightly separated handpowder tongs that mimic the appearance of a standard game controller. They have also updated components on Asus versions.
The laptop includes two options, a Ally White Xbox and the most powerful Xbox Ally X that is in black. The low -end ally is fed by an AMD Ryzen Z2A processor, includes 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of SSD storage, weighs 23.6 ounces (670 grams) and has a 60Wh battery. Ally X has an Extreme AMD Ryzen Ai Z2 processor, 24 GB RAM, 1TB of SSD storage, weighs a little more than 25.2 ounces (715 grams) and has a battery of 80wh.
Both models are equipped with a 70 -hzed 1080p screen of 70 Hz, the same as in the original asus versions of the devices. They also have RGB lights that surround the analog posts, which I hope I will be able to disable -when I spend real time playing on the device. Ally X felt on the heaviest side, but again, the recently launched Switch 2 and my OLED steam cover is also heavy, so I think this is what the hand slices weigh these days.
Xbox has not yet revealed the date of price or launch, apart from “this holiday”.
