Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has said that the Israeli Thai citizen was held hostage during the Hamas -led attack in October 2023.
He said that Nattapang Pinta’s body was withdrawn during a special operation on Friday in the Rafa area of southern Gaza. He was working as an agricultural laborer in South Israel when a 35 -year -old young man was abducted.
An Israeli military official said Mr. Nattapang could be killed in his first month. Before the operation, he did not know whether he was dead or alive.
It comes after the Israeli army seized the bodies of two Israeli Americans in Gaza earlier this week.
Mr. Nattapang is a young son’s married father, a military officer said. When he was captured by a militant group named Mujahideen Brigades, he was working in Kibbutz Ni Oz to support his family in Thailand.

After reports of recovering on Saturday, BBC tried to reach Mr Nattapang’s wife. She did not answer the call but the son message back with a weeping picture.
The hostages and the missing Familys Forum Campaign Group said that the recovery will come after 20 horror and intense months of destructive uncertainty.
The group urged the Israeli government to make an agreement with Hamas to free the remaining prisoners.

The Israeli army took the bodies of the elderly couple Judy and Border Khagai on Thursday in Khan Younis, the city of Gajan.
