Halperin argued that Biden’s mental decline has been evident since 2017, but a combination of factors has shielded him from criticism.
“It’s some combination of Trump derangement syndrome and not wanting to be boycotted for doing anything that will help Donald Trump win,” Halperin said. “The irony is that the reason Joe Biden left where he is, there are a lot of reasons to re-elect Donald Trump, but the silence in the media is one of the biggest reasons. I think it’s one of the biggest scandals. One of the biggest media scandals of any kind in American history.”
