“RHOP” SUMMARY: Mia Thornton drops a bomb about Gizelle’s daughters
The December 1 episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac dives right back into the drama at Wendy Osefos seemingly endless 40th anniversary celebrations. The focus quickly shifts to Mia Thorntonwho finds herself in the hot seat as the ladies zero in on her cryptic family dynamics.
Mia is in the hot seat
Leading the charge, Gizelle Bryant demanding answers about a puzzling Instagram post from Mia refers to the “fathers” of her children. The post only deepens the intrigue around Mia’s chaotic family situation, and Gizelle wasting no time pressing for an explanation and further fanning the flames Mia’s already messy drama.
Mia shocked everyone when she casually said, “My children’s fathers can get along.” To which Stacey Rusch asked, “I thought Gordon was the father of your children?” Mia clarifies that she is referring to her previous marriage, which briefly eased the tension. Mia’s bestie, Jacqueline Blake, stepped in to defend Mia. However, Mia didn’t see Jacqueline Blake like having her back and being a solid friend, “go back where she came from.”

Wendy is confused
Wendy Osefo receives a proclamation from the governor, though she mistakenly calls it a citation. Stacey Rusch can’t resist pointing out the mix up, just kidding about it Wendy should know the difference considering she constantly talks about her degrees. After receiving the award, Wendy introducing their children to Eddie’s siblings, and things seem to be moving smoothly towards reconciliation.
Stacey Gets unsolicited but sound advice
In another corner of the party, Ashley Darby brings the group together to have a private conversation with Stacey about her upcoming divorce mediation. While Gizelle and Ashley urge Stacey to approach the situation cautiously, Stacey is still optimistic that her ex-husband will handle things fairly and without conflict. However, Gizelle expresses her doubts in a confessional.
“When I went through my divorce, I knew exactly what I was getting into.” Gizelle says. “These men always try to leave you with nothing. Staceygirl, you are in danger.”
Despite the warning, Stacey dismisses their concerns, confident that her ex will not act like the others.
Keiarna’s husband treats her like the help
Keiarna Stewart decided to drop by Greg’s company, but instead of a temporary visit he made her help directly. Greg’s however, the lines didn’t exactly match the mood. When asked about making things official, he joked, “If she starts behaving herself, she could be a Diggs.”
He then leans back at his desk with a smile and adds, “I enjoy settling you down.” The Kei’s directed the call to her personal injury case, let Greg know it went well. Later, in her confession, she admitted that the conflict with Deborah had made Greg feel uneasy about her becoming part of this group.
Drama breaks out at Gizelle and Ashley’s GnA Event
Later in the episode, the ladies gather to support another GnA event hosted by Ashley and Gizelle. While the gathering begins smoothly, tensions quickly escalate as unresolved issues resurface, leading to a fiery confrontation.
At the event, the fallout from Wendy’s The 40th anniversary party is still fresh, especially after Gizelle raised questions about Mia’s relationship with Inc. Last night’s discussion led to accusations of dishonesty against Miawhich makes her hurt and angry.
Determined to deal with the situation, Mia confronts Gizelle directly and challenged her about the comments made during the party. Mia doesn’t hold back and addresses Gizelle’s tendency to avoid sharing personal details.
“I don’t write everything about my life as a ‘beautiful, outstanding mother'” Mia shoots at Gizelle, implying that Gizelle and her daughter are not as perfect as they may seem.
Mia drops a bomb about Gizelle’s daughters
As more women join the conversation, Gizelle tries to justify her actions, claiming that her questions at Wendy’s party were legitimate. Miahowever, is far from satisfied.
“Then come to me” Mia snaps. “Don’t bring it to the group.”
In a shocking twist, Mia reveals a private incident involving Gizelle’s daughters.
“Your girls snuck boys into the house in the DR,” Mia says. “You didn’t want me to bring it to the group.”
The revelation stuns the room, and Mia accuses Gizelle of covering up the situation, noting that she chose to keep the matter private rather than discuss it publicly.
Gizelle fires back
Gizelle is visibly annoyed by Mia’s comments and does not hold back in his confessional.
“Mia is actually losing her mind,” Gizelle says. “She goes through a lot with these two men, but what she won’t do is beat me and my daughters out.”
Miahowever, she doubles down on her criticism of Gizelle’s parenting.
“I know she’s probably going through a lot when she’s becoming an empty nester,” Mia says. “Motherhood is really hard, and it evolves and it changes. So who are you to tell me who I am as a mother when you’re not even living your authentic life? At least I’m keeping it real over here, okay?”
While Mia’s comments struck a nerve, Gizelle decides to keep calm – for now. In her confessional, she reveals that she takes time to process the situation before responding.
“I’m actually just taking this in” Gizelle says. “Since it’s all over, I will react.”
With tensions at record levels, it is clear that this confrontation is far from over. The Real Housewives of Potomac broadcast on Sundays at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
