Retailer Mike Ashley has launched a fresh attack on Boohoo’s troubled management ahead of a big meeting later this month.
Ashley, who wants Boohoo shareholders to give him a seat on the board, blasted his bosses in an open letter yesterday, accusing them of ‘manipulative management over fear’ which ‘destroys shareholder value and threatens the future of the company.’
He also warned of a ‘fire sale’ of assets
Boohoo said Ashley is seeking a board seat for her own interests’ and that her management is ‘focused on maximizing value for all shareholders’.
