Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) announced the official opening of his new terminal building to the public.
As of Tuesday, June 17, all passengers who arrive and leave via the airport will get an exclusive first look at the upgraded terminal, as the opening is the end of the first phase of £ 100m.
Passengers will benefit from upgraded terminal facilities, all aimed at improving customer service and regional connection.
This includes a new luggage recycling area and An upgraded passport control facility with advanced security technology, designed to ensure a ‘smoother and safer journey’.
The terminal also brings an impressive 83 percent increase in seats, offering passengers more space, comfort and clear views.
In addition, passengers will be provided with more variety and choice than ever, as the extensive terminal brings in a wider range of food and drinking offers.
For a touch of luxury, passengers can now access two premium lounges, including the All-New Six Eight One Premium Lounge, which offers seasonal menus with fresh, locally acquired products, and a relaxing space to relax before they walk in.
Work on phase 2 of the project is already in motion, focusing on renovating the existing terminal to further improve passenger experience and modernizing the existing terminal infrastructure.

During phase 2, passengers should expect some changes if they leave the airport.
Upon arrival at the terminal, passengers will notice scaffolding and dishes at the front of the area, as well as a relocated meeting and greeting parking lot, and new zones for bus picks and download.
