The airline’s first A320 neo (New Engine Option) has arrived in Australia after a three-day journey from the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France.
The airline called it ‘one of the quietest and most fuel-efficient aircraft in our narrow-body fleet’.
The aircraft seats Jetstar’s 188 passengers in economy.
To coincide with the new aircraft, Jetstar has introduced an updated uniform to more than 6,000 staff who have new options, including jackets in blue and the airline’s signature orange, as well as dresses, tailored skirts, tapered trousers, polos and overcoats.
