Protesters in Italy’s Rome demands the Israeli War for the war against Gaza | Israel-Palestine conflict news


Millions of protesters marched on the streets of Italian capital Rome against the war of Gaza in a protest in protest, known as the main opposition parties of Italy, alleging that the right -wing government was very silent.

At the beginning of Saturday’s procession, the protesters held a banner, read: “Stop the massacre, stop the complication!”

The protest attracted a variety of groups across the country, including many families with children.

According to organizers, 300,000 people participated in a rally organized by Left -wing opposition to ask for a clear position on the conflict in Gaza.

“This is an enormous popular response to the crimes of the Palestinian massacre and the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s crimes,” Italy’s central-d Democratic party leader Ellie Schline told reporters in March.

“Another Italy is not silent as the Meloni government does,” he said, referring to Prime Minister Georgia Meloni.

Meloni was recently pushed by the opposition to publicly condemn Netanyahu’s invasion in Gaza, but many observers considered her criticism very timid.

Earlier this week, the Italian leader, Israel, demanded that his military campaign be stopped immediately in Gaza, and that its attacks have grown inadequate and end to protect the citizens.

Israel is facing international criticism to deal with its aggressive and stress to help Gaza during the humanitarian crisis.

Gaza has been in the Israeli blockade for almost three months, and experts have warned that many of its two million residents are at risk of drought.

The Israeli war against Gaza killed at least 54,772 Palestinians and injured 125,834 people, according to the Ministry of Health. An estimated 1,139 people have been killed in Israel during an October 7, 2023 Hamas -led attack and more than 200 have been captured.
