Al-Nasr and Portugal Forward Cristiano Ronaldo said there was no plan to play at the Club World Cup from June 14 in the United States.
Cristiano Ronaldo is sure that he will not play at the Club World Cup, with FIFA President Jiyani Infantino’s wish to have one of the biggest attractions of the tournament.
The Portugal star confirmed on Saturday that “very few” offers from the clubs participating in the tournament starting June 14, but decided to accept any of them.
“It makes sense to talk about some things. Other things do not do so, and as a person says, you can’t participate in everything,” Ronaldo said.
“You have to think about a short -term, medium and long -term. The decision to take practically from my side to go to the club World Cup, but I have some invitations to go.”
Ronaldo was speaking at Munich a day before Spain to the UEFA Nations League final of Portugal.
In the final, Portugal won the Portugal and scored the 137th international goal with a 2-1 semifinal win over 40-year-old Germany.
“It’s irrelevant right now,” Ronaldo said when he first asked about the FIFA Club World Cup. “There is no point to talk about anything other than the national team.”
