Older people on low incomes have until this Saturday to make a Credit Pension claim to receive a winter payment of up to £300.
Up to 880,000 will lose more than £3,900 a year on the benefit and low-income pensioners can claim costs including fuel and housing.
Only those who successfully claim for the qualifying week of September 16-22 will receive a payment, but claims can be returned for up to three months.
Pensioners will not automatically receive the winter fuel allowance after Chief Executive Rachel Reeves controversially decided to test the benefit earlier this year.
You can check if you qualify using the online calculator (gov.uk/pension-credit-calculator) or call 0800 99 1234.

Finally: Up to 880,000 could lose £3,900 a year on Pension Credit which allows low-income pensioners to claim costs including fuel and housing.
