Scientists reveal the secret to the female ORGASM – and reveal the simple ways women can achieve the ‘Big O’

It is often considered an illegal matter.

But new research is finally lifting the lid on the female orgasm — and what it takes to achieve it.

Researchers from the University of Essex surveyed 360 women about their sexual experiences.

The results showed that women who reach climax often have a higher level of perception known as ‘interoception’.

This is the ability to hear and interpret signals from within your body, such as heart rate, breathing, hunger, and pain.

‘Women need to get out of their heads and into their bodies to have more and more fulfilling periods,’ said Dr Megan Clubnde who led the study.

Orgasms are more frequent and satisfying if a woman can focus on how her body feels.

‘This research is important because most research on orgasms in women focuses on their dysfunction.’

Although it is considered by many to be the peak of pleasure, previous studies have shown that when it comes to orgasms, women are lacking.

Last year, Durex surveyed 2,000 Brits on their sex life, and they found it men are four times more affected than women approximately.

However, previous research on the so-called ‘orgasm gap’ tends to focus on the orgasmic problem in women.

‘Focusing on the issue of puberty in women is a problem because there is little research to show how women live, let alone show ways women can enrich their mouths,’ said Dr Clubnde.

In their new study, the researchers tried to understand why some women are able to achieve orgasms more often than others.

The team enrolled 360 women, who completed questionnaires about their sexual experiences – both private and partnered – and the level of interoception.

The results showed that women had orgasms about 20 percent more often on their own.

In addition, increased interoception is associated with orgasmic satisfaction.

“The ability of women to focus on what is happening inside their body, and believe in these pains, is also related to satisfaction and happiness,” said Dr Clubnde.

Therefore, it is important for women and their loved ones to believe in what happens in the womb during sex.

‘This is very important in promoting orgasmic satisfaction for both individuals and especially for sexual intercourse.’

The researchers hope that their findings will improve sexual satisfaction not only for women, but also for their partners.

“A better understanding of women’s emotions can lead to better outcomes and stronger relationships between women and their partners,” added Dr Clubnde.
