As Americans come to grips with the results of the 2024 election, “Full House” actress Candace Cameron Bure is leaning on her faith in God and encouraging others to approach policy issues from a “biblical perspective.”
In an exclusive interview with Fox News DigitalCameron Bure explained what it means to “vote like Jesus” — a personal motto he shared on social media before the election that helped him navigate which way to vote on November 5 this year.

“You have two candidates that are really viable options that you can write off. But God is not surprised Either way, it doesn’t matter who wins. So let God’s will be done. That’s what I mean,” he said.

“I look at problems from a biblical perspective.”
The actress took to social media to encourage others to “look at the principles” of each candidate’s role instead of “picking it apart”.
“It’s our duty as Americans to get out and vote,” he wrote. “And, you know, there are never two perfect candidates. And everyone is flawed, not just our presidential candidates, but every one of us.”
The actress revealed that she turns to the Bible to navigate policy issues, adding that she turns to the Scriptures. “to break it”
“I look at issues from a biblical perspective. So, I said, ‘Vote like Jesus,'” added Cameron Bure.
According to the survey Taken earlier this year, eight in 10 Americans believe the influence of religion in America is declining.
That means 80 percent of US adults think religion is losing its influence on American life, according to The Pew Research Center’s 2024 Survey found.
Another Pew poll released a few months ago suggested that Trump voters don’t believe he’s very religious. He fights for religious communities.

Fox News Digital posed a significant question to the “Full House” star, asking whether the results — including Donald Trump’s White House win and Republican control of Congress — are “proof” that faith is making a comeback.
“Yes. I think everyone is shocked by this election. It was just a red sweep and more shocking than a lot of people realised,” he said.

“I think a lot of people have struggled in the last four years Trying to buy groceries. So, there are many, many things. I mean, I can go over that,” she added. “Co-hosting ‘The View’ has allowed me to put my political views aside in a more gentle way.”
