Spotify Wrapped is out NOW – here’s what to do if you can’t see yours


The moment music lovers around the world have been waiting for has arrived.

Spotify has released the highly anticipated 2024 Spotify Wrapped.

Favorites lets you dig deeper into the last 12 months of your music preferences, revealing your favorite or sad moments.

Spotify users can search for everything from their top songs to their top artists, as well as podcasts they couldn’t find.

You can also see how your emotions stack up against the rest of the world.

When you search your Spotify Wrapped, you’ll be given the option to share your results with your friends on messaging apps and social media.

This year, the 2024 Wrapped Experience is available in the Spotify mobile app (iOS and Android).

What is Spotify Wrapped?

Spotify Wrapped is a tool that has been released by Spotify every year since 2016.

This tool analyzes your listening habits throughout the year, revealing your top five songs, artists, and podcasts.

You’ll also be shown how many minutes you’ve spent on the app, and how your listening experience compares to the rest of Spotify.

What’s new this year?

This year’s event has several new features, including AI DJ and AI playlists.

AI DJ – described by Spotify as a ‘fantastic thing’ – can now provide reviews of your year along with the music you hear.

Meanwhile, Premium users can create personalized lists using their Covered data first.

The briefcase comes in six colors - black and pink, blue and pink, black and green, red and green, yellow and blue, or black and blue.

Once you've selected your version, simply click the 'Share' button below

At the end of your experience, you’ll be shown a summary of your top artists and songs, as well as the minutes you’ve listened to.

What to do if you don’t see Spotify Covered

If you don’t see Spotify Covered, it’s because you’re using an outdated app.

Go to the App Store if you’re an iPhone user and the Google Play Store if you’re on Android.

Search for Spotify, and you should see an option to ‘change’ the app.

How to get Spotify Wakuta 2024

Eligible users will be able to access their customized 2024 Wrapped Experience in the Spotify mobile app (iOS and Android) this year.

To find yours, simply open the Spotify app on your smartphone, and navigate to the Home tab, located at the bottom left of the screen.

The overlay should appear at the top of your Home feed.

How to distribute Spotify Wrapped

If you’re happy with your results and your Spotify Wrapped doesn’t disappoint, you can easily share it with your friends.

At the end of your experience, you’ll be shown a summary of your top artists and songs, as well as the minutes you’ve listened to.

This short card comes in six colors – black and pink, blue and pink, black and green, red and green, yellow and blue, or black and blue.

Once you’ve selected your version, simply click the ‘Share’ button below.

You can share your results via Instagram Stories, WhatsApp, Snapchat, Messages, Instagram Messages, Facebook Stories, X, Messenger, or Facebook Feed.

Alternatively, you can copy the link, or download the card summary to your smartphone.

“As part of our new integration with TikTok, users can easily share their Covered results on TikTok FYP and Stories,” Spotify added.

What to do if you don’t see Spotify Covered

If you don’t see Spotify Covered, it’s because you’re using an outdated app.

‘Please make sure your Spotify app is updated to the latest version,’ Spotify advised.

To update your app, visit the App Store if you’re an iPhone user and the Google Play Store if you’re on Android.

Search for Spotify, and you should see an option to ‘change’ the app.
