British holidaymakers have been seen in line for more than an hour to ensure the best pool places in a Canary Islands resort.
Sunskers armed with towels, solar stream and flipflops were captured in bizarre footage on May 28 for the pool in the Barceló Lanzarote Active Resort, Las Palmas, Spain.
It seems that the Sunbed Wars is now in full swing with hotel guests that put alarms extra early, just to form ropes to the pool until the staff gives them all clear.
According to the guests, the rope of people has become a regular morning routine for holidaymakers in the Spanish hotel.
Isabelle Hanssen, whose balcony overlooks the pool that was eagerly waiting for the poolgoers.
According to the half -pipe skier, the rope usually consists of a few Germans who are also in line.
Isabelle, from the Netherlands, also revealed that the ropes started as early as 8am, despite the pool that was not open until 9:30.
With multiple entrances to the pool, lines of ten people plus can be seen that form all over the area.

The line usually consists of British holidaymakers with a few Germans hanging around, according to a hotel guests
Isabelle Hanssen said, “It’s 30 minutes before the pool opens for the one sunbed, I think.”
Members of the public are shocked by the footage.
One viewer said, “Pathetic and ridiculous, out of embarrassment.”
Another added: ‘It’s not always like that. I was there last week and it never happened once. ‘
A third said, ‘This is my worst nightmare. ‘
“I always wonder why hotels can’t just assign sunbeds per room. That would solve this whole problem, ‘added another.
Another said, “It’s not a holiday for me.”
This comes after two British holidaymakers ended up in a raging row over a sunbed in a three-star Lanzarote Hotel earlier this month.
It can be seen that a dissatisfied woman tells a solar bath that she will complain about her with the driver at the Hyde Park Lane apartments on the Spanish island.
Footage shows that the woman, who seems to have a Scottish accent and carries a pink cover, and accuses the other British of taking a place that members of her group have held ‘all week’ all week.
The noise broke out on May 16 at Damlatas Beach in the Alanya district of Antalya after the tourist, described by the Turkish media as Brits, inquired about renting a Sun Lounger, but decided to choose from after finding it too expensive.
Instead, it is said that the tourist throws his belongings on the sand so he could dive into the sea.
An employee told the tourist to take his belongings elsewhere, but the events escalated after the tourist refused, which led to the staff member beating him in front of other holidaymakers.
The footage of the incident showed that the employee was attacking a man, who could be seen on the sand while he was beaten and kicked.
Viewers are seen screaming from horror, while others move away from the noise.
Two men then tried to break up the fight before the video came to an end.
