South Curry-Lee and Damion Leethe family is growing again! And this time it was a complete surprise.

The content creator and sister of the NBA star Steph Curryrecently shared that she and her husband, Phoenix Suns player Damion Lee, are expecting their third child together. Curry-Lee has been transparent about her infertility journey while trying to conceive son Daxon, 3, and daughter Daryn, 15 months. This pregnancy was a complete surprise to the couple, but they seem happily ready for the challenge of being outnumbered.

Sydel Curry-Lee and Damion Lee are about to become parents to three children!

A few days ago, Curry-Lee shared the news that she’s expecting again, but this time it was a total surprise.

She elaborated on the story and shared how she felt when she found out she was going to be a mother of three in a post on social media on Tuesday morning. But before sharing the video of her pregnancy reveal, she shared a disclaimer.

“Please pause to read!! Hey friends! Before I dive into this video, I want to give a disclaimer and a sensitivity warning,” the post read. “I know many of you started following me after watching our fertility journey because you can/have been able to relate to the obstacles and paths that come with trying to start a family when it’s not ‘easy’.”

Her disclaimer went on to explain that over the past three years, she and her husband have seen their family grow with their two children “through the power of prayer and science.”

“As you know this pregnancy was completely unexpected and unplanned. The video you are about to watch is a raw and real reaction just minutes after we confirmed our 3rd pregnancy and thought it would never happen this way,” wrote she. “I never want to be ungrateful or insensitive to what others are going through, so if you’re still in your waiting phase, whether it’s for baby number 1 or baby number 16, please proceed with caution.”

Curry-Lee shared the video of her and Lee finding out she’s pregnant with both Instagram and TikTok pages.

Caption: “Looking back on this I can’t help but be so thankful for TIME! Time to work through feelings and get used to new ideas about life and how you saw your life going! It goes to show that EVERYTHING happens for a reason although you are shaken to the core with its first arrival.There was a lot going on behind the scenes with me mentally at this time, which also affected my initial reaction, but I am so grateful for this blessing and!baby already feels like the missing piece in our puzzle. This journey will continue, and I look forward to sharing more with you all, friends,” viewers get to see the real emotions the couple went through when they saw a positive pregnancy test.

After putting the positive pregnancy test in front of the camera, a range of emotions flowed from both Curry-Lee and Lee.

“Are you kidding me?” she asked to which Lee replied, “This is real. Really, Lee for three.”

“I can’t believe this”

Curry-Lee appeared to be in complete shock over his surprise positive test.

“I literally can’t believe this,” she said. “I feel like we’re acting like we’re on our 16th child.”

She then explained that her last thought was that she “might want another child” in five years. Lee replied, “Not five hours.”

“It wasn’t even five hours. It was literally two hours after I said it,” she explained. “If you’re wondering why we don’t seem that surprised, more like, heck, reality really hit, like. We’re putting the kids to bed today, tonight, and I was just doing our normal routine, I got a message on my phone that said my Flow app said my period was 11 days late.

She said she took “multiple pregnancy tests” in her postpartum days after having daughter Daryn because her periods were irregular. She said she didn’t think she was pregnant because it took years and IVF to have her two children.

“Obviously there are a lot of emotions. I just started feeling like myself again,” she continued. “I just stopped breastfeeding. I just got my body back as me. I was making plans for my career.”

The couple went on to share their real and raw feelings about their third pregnancy.

The comments section of Curry-Lee’s posts on Instagram and TikTok were filled with love, support and excitement over her baby news.

“The way you honor all your feelings is my favorite thing about you,” one person shared on Instagram. Another added, “Thanks for sharing! This was a similar reaction to our third as we are still in the chaos of two toddlers.”

Many could relate to the emotional journey Curry-Lee shared.

“This was me 9 months after having my IVF baby that we had after years of trying! Congratulations!” wrote a TikTok viewer. Another said: “Valid valid valid.” And another viewer wrote: “This is so real! Totally understand the feeling!”

The mental health advocate and social media influencer has been transparent about her infertility struggles for years. Many who followed her story could relate to much of it.

During her pregnancy with her second child, Curry-Lee shared her fertility struggles with her followers in hopes that it can help others who can relate and not feel so alone in their journeys.

During National Infertility Awareness Week last year, Curry-Lee shared a video on Instagram with the caption: “The days we wonder if we’ll ever have the family we long for. Hearing others ask if we should just take it as a sign to go another route.’ Infertility is one of the toughest things to go through, but every fight towards the goal is worth it, I remember those trenches.”

Her caption went on to reflect, “I remember those tears and fears. I still face them to this day. So if you’re in the deep end wondering, ‘will it ever happen to me?’ I hold your heart through this and I pray that whatever the outcome may be, most of all, you find peace.”
