Taylor Swift is reportedly planning to go on a long hiatus after her Era tour

Taylor Swift is reportedly looking to take a well-deserved break from the public eye.

Following the conclusion of her highly successful Eras Tour, the famous singer is said to be considering a year off to focus on her personal life, particularly her blossoming romance with the NFL star Travis Kelce.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, who celebrated Thanksgiving Day with each other’s families, are also reportedly open to getting engaged but “are in no rush.”

Swift plans to take a long break from all things work after she wraps up her record-breaking Eras World Tour next weekend.

The “Blank Space” hitmaker has been on the road for nearly two years, having kicked off her tour in March 2023. However, she is set to host the final leg of her show on December 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia, after which she will rest.

“Taylor is exhausted,” a source told us US Weekly. “She’s looking forward to some relaxation and downtime.”

Swift has reportedly set her sights on staying in Kansas City with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as she tries to strengthen their romance after their limited time together due to her busy tour schedule.

“Taylor plans to stay in and rest (with Travis) for a while,” the insider shared.

“They want to do ‘normal things’ as a couple,” another source added. “Taylor and Travis are eager to spend quality time together because (that’s when) the little nuances about someone’s personality and habits come into play. They’re going to learn so much about each other.”

Although Swift wants to take a breather, she’s reportedly already conceptualizing her next album and potential tour. However, the chance of things picking up depends on how things go with Kelce.

“A lot of it depends on what happens over the next year with Travis,” the second source told the news agency. “She has told her team to give her a year to see how her personal life goes.”

The “Fortnight” singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end are said to be open to furthering their romance, with the insider saying they “love to be engaged” but “are in no rush.”

“Taylor feels like Travis is The One, but jumping in is not her style,” the insider shared. “That’s just not how she does (things). Marriage is a big deal, and she wants (it to be) forever.”

Swift also plans to celebrate her 35th birthday on December 13 and the end of her tour in New York City.

“She loves a fancy party with her closest friends,” the first source said, adding, “Taylor is excited to turn 35. She knows she’s accomplished so much.”

According to the news outlet, the “Bad Blood” singer hasn’t left her and Kelce’s family out of her plans.

The source shared that Swift plans to host her and Kelce’s family over Christmas, further strengthening their relationship.

It comes after the Grammy winner and her family, including mom Andrea Swift and dad Scott Swift, hosted the Kelces for Thanksgiving at her home in Nashville, Tenn.

A source told Page six that it was “really important” for them to celebrate the special day together after missing the chance to celebrate it last year due to her tour schedule.

“It was really important for Taylor and Travis to spend Thanksgiving together this year because they’ve never been able to before,” the insider explained. “They knew it would take some coordination, but they’re so thankful they were able to pull it off.”

Although Swift and Kelce are keeping details of their romance close to their chest, the football star recently said that he and his brother, Jason, are “very happy” in their relationship with Swift and Kylie Kelce.

Kelce made the joke on a November episode of their new “Heights Hotline” podcast, stating that while he and his brother may be “non-experts” when it comes to dating and relationships, they are “two (people) very happy in relationships ” with their significant others.

“I’m not going to say we’re not experts, we kill it a little bit,” Jason chimed in, per People Magazine.

Swift and Kelce were previously drawn into speculation that their romance was coming to an end when a “breakup contract” surfaced online, detailing a PR strategy for their fallout.

However, Kelce’s PR team, Full Scope, quickly issued a statement denying the authenticity of the documents.

Kelce recently came under serious pressure from his girlfriend’s fans after commenting on an engagement post by fellow football player Josh Allen, who recently popped the question to actress Hailee Steinfeld.

On November 29, Steinfeld and Allen shared stunning photos of their engagement on Instagram, to the shock of their followers.

The photos showed Steinfeld and Allen in front of a flowery arch, with the quarterback on one knee, while the “Bumblebee” star leaned down to kiss him after accepting his proposal.

The couple was inundated with congratulations from friends and fans in the comments section. However, Kelce’s comment got the most attention.

The Chiefs tight end wrote “Congratulations!!!” along with hand emojis, and this prompted fans of Swift to pressure him to pop the question to the singer.

One person said, “You next bro,” while another fan commented, “Aww yeah, so cute! You next.”

A third Swiftie noted, “You’re next!!!! 12/13/2024 let’s gooooo,” hinting that Kelce would propose to Swift on her birthday in December.
