A travel expert explained how tourists can pack a cheap long -term flight, but the hack does have some catches.
Chelsea Dickenson, the cheap holiday expert, explained how shipment works on her podcast, @PassportsPleasepod.
She reveals: ‘Skip slaughter is when a passenger discusses a flight with a relaxation, but intentionally climbs to the Layover city instead of continuing to the final destination.
“And that’s because the city city is usually cheaper to fly to a longer route.”
As an example, Chelsea explains that a passenger can fly London to New York.
Instead of choosing for a ‘super expensive’ direct route, travelers can find a flight that is London Chicago with a change in New York.
Chelsea says the passenger would then climb in New York and leave the airport, instead of waiting for the flight to Chicago.
But although the hack may be a way to achieve a cheaper flight, Chelsea warns that it is not always better than discussing a direct route.

And there is another disadvantage.
She adds: “The most important disadvantages are that airlines absolutely hate, because you waste a seat on one of their flights.”
Airline staff may also be looking for the missing passenger if they do not go on the second flight.
Chelsea says: ‘It’s Admin for them. They hate it. And you can get blacklisted by doing it. Some people have completely said that they cannot discuss with airlines if they have done so repeatedly. ‘
Although Chelsea’s tip picked up more than 265,000 likes on Tiktok, a commentator issued another warning for travelers eager to try to skip.
‘Nayla Kana’ says, ‘My first thought is that it would only work for passengers with hand luggage. Because your luggage will be in Chicago now! ‘
Another commentator said the tip is certainly unlikely for a return journey, and Chelsea agreed and said, ‘It wouldn’t work! If you have done this on the flight, they are likely to cancel your return flight. ‘
