With counting all the votes, right -wing historian Carol Navroki has been elected as the new President of Poland, the State Election Commission (PKW) said.
PKW said Navroki won 50.9% of the votes – Warsa’s liberal mayor Rafael Trizeskovski was 49.1%.
The result of the first exit survey was a sensible turn – the turnout was published as soon as the polling ended at 21:00 local time (19:00 GMT) – it showed the trzaskowski 50.3% win to Navrokia 49.7%.
Navroki warned that if Trizascovski had won after the first exit survey, the results were too close to calling.
“We have won, but the phrase ‘Razors Edge’ will permanently enters the Polish language and politics,” Trizkovski told his supporters.
His wife Malgorzata jokingly said to the audience, “I’m close to a heart attack.”
After the outcome of the first exit survey, “Don’t miss the promise of this night. We win at night, the difference is low. I believe that we will wake up tomorrow with President Carol Navroki.”

As the new president of Poland, Navroki is likely to continue using his presidential Power of Veto to block the EU’s pro -EU program of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.
The result is likely to be reinforced by the National Traditional Law and Justice (PIS), which lost power eighteen months ago, giving a new belief that it will be able to defeat Tusk’s union in the 2027 parliamentary elections.
Navroki supports traditional Catholic and family values and a strong supporter of Polish sovereigns within the EU.
He supports continuous support for Ukraine, but said that he does not want to see the country joining NATO and Eu in the ongoing aggression of Russia.
The President of Poland is often a ceremonial role with a limited impact on foreign policy and protection, but the president can veto. The Tusk’s EU coalition government does not have a large parliamentary majority to cancel it.
The current conservative president Andrej Duda, Prime Minister Tusk, has used his authority to prevent the promise of a major campaign, including the removal of political influence from the judiciary and the liberalization of the country’s strict abortion law.
Duda congratulated Navroki, who was unable to contest the re -election, which had already served for two consecutive terms.
“This was a difficult, sometimes painful but incredibly daring struggle for Poland. Duda said.
Both presidential candidates support constant help with neighboring Ukraine, but they differ in their approach to EU. Former European Minister Trijascovsky supports the vision of Tusk in Poland in the heart of the European mainstream, influencing decisions through strong relations with Germany and France.
42 -year -old Navroki supports a strong sovereign Poland and the country does not want to give up more power to Brussels. They oppose EU climate and migration policies.

They are not known nationally relatively relatively before the Opposition’s PIS is elected as their “unauthorized” candidate.
A sharp amateur boxer and footballer, he often posts pictures of himself working for himself. Piss presented him as a powerful candidate, he stands for general poles and the national interests of the country.
Fan of President Donald Trump, he flew to Washington during the Polish election campaign for a very brief meeting-and to get a thumb-photo with Trump at the oval office.
During the campaign, questions were raised about the number of apartments owned by Navroki in the presidential debate, with one of the most poles.
However, instead of the promises of care, he had a second apartment acquired by pensioners.
This led to allegations that it took advantage of a weak senior citizen and failed to fulfill their promises.
After the scandal, Navroki said he would donate the council to the charity and he denied that he did not take care.
